Resilience Workshops

These discussions bring health care leaders together with their staff to learn about psychoeducational topics, conduct wellness activities, and discuss topics such as burnout, stress, and resilience.

What are they?

Resilience Workshops are intended to be shorter to provide your organization or team with an opportunity to learn various psychoeducational topics and have discussions regarding what they mean for you and your workplace. We created short and long versions, 30 minutes and 1 hour respectively, of each topic to accommodate your needs. We can do multiple workshops in one day and can also provide drop-in workshops throughout the day if different teams have varying availability.

Structure of Resilience Workshops

Resilience Workshops are structured so that participants do not need to have advanced knowledge of the psychoeducational topic in order to participate effectively. We provide an introduction to the concept and are able to answer questions. Following the educational presentation regarding the topic, we have structured questions for group discussions to dive into how employees feel regarding the specific topic. After the discussion, we have additional resilience activities relevant to the topic for teams and organizations to participate in. For the long-version of the workshops, we will then reconvene for an additional discussion regarding the activity.

Topics for Resilience Workshops include:

  • Burnout
  • Crisis management
  • General wellbeing
  • Grief and loss
  • Mindfulness
  • Recreation, relaxing, and recharging
  • Resiliency
  • Stress management
  • Sleep
  • Workplace culture
  • Workplace violence
